Also remove asset directory upon release

Otherwise, updated assets will not be taken into account when
creating snapshot releases.

Fix fatal: pathspec 'vendor' did not match any files
...
With the --ignore-unmatch, the make-release script no longer complains
that the path specification does not match any file the first time it
is called.
