lzeng14 7ee85aa2ff According to PI errata 0000654 and 000811, we need use 0xFFFE to instead of 0 for EFI_SMBIOS_PROTOCOL.Add() SmbiosHandle parameter to assign a unique handle to the SMBIOS record, and for EFI_SMBIOS_PROTOCOL.GetNext() SmbiosHandle parameter to get the first matched SMBIOS handle or indicate no more SMBIOS record.

qianouyang af1600fd9a Fix a bug which cause a CRTL, ALT, or SHIFT is pressed on the GOP console for NT32, it inserts a ' 'character character. 
Root cause is that the parameter of UnicodeStr doesn’t initialize.

mdkinney 99df328c72 Clean up DEC files: 
1) Remove section header comment blocks that do not provide any information
2) Combine PCDs listed in multiple sections into a single section that supports multiple PCD types to reduce maintenance overhead
3) Remove ModuleTypeList comments from [Includes], [Protocols], [Ppis], and [Guids] sections that do not properly describe the module type restrictions.
4) Clean up formatting of GUID structure declarations
5) Remove ".common" from section names if they are not required.
6) Order sections consistently as [Defines], [Includes], [LibraryClasses], [Guid], [Ppis], [Protocols], [PcdsFeatureFlag], [PcdsFixedAtBuild], [PcdsPatchableInModule], [PcdsDynamic], and [PcdsDynamicEx]

mdkinney 48fff860a9 Update DebugLib to provide support for "err" command in the EFI Shell to adjust the filter mask for DEBUG() messages. The "err" command provide the ability to adjust this filter mask at a global level through an EFI Variable and at the module level through a the Debug Mask Protocol. In order to support the degree of flexibility, the DebugLib needs to use library to abstract the get/set operations to the filter mask. 
1) Add default mappings for the DebugPrintErrorLevelLib to the DSC file for this package.

niruiyu ff72001b5b Nt32SerialIo driver was changed to produce the flow control device path node when the remaining device path contains such node. And it will return unsupported when receiving a remaining device path only contains UART node and it’s already produced the flow control node.

AJFISH 225290eba7 Added new PeCoffGetEntryPoint lib function to get size of PE/COFF header. This is needed for debug prints with PE/COFF images that started as ELF or Mach-O. Moved and debugged ARM semihosting lib for RVD that prints out the debugger symbol load commands in a window on the debugger. Trying to write a script file, but that crashes RVD. Added debug print to BeagleBoard Sec that prints out RVD debugger command to load symbols for the Sec. Synced the rest of the code.

qhuang8 49b3b3ab26 Don't calculate the directory size and the caller of EFI_FILE protocol can calculate that for better UI. 
The enhancement algorithm to calculate directory size (Edk r2583) is incorrect because SetPosition() does not allow other arguments other than 0, causing current file cursor is lost.

eric_tian f51c8a9de3 ProcessCapsule() and BdsMemoryTest() are implemented in the BdsDxe module, which will be invoked at PlatformBds library. 
It is not proper for a library implementation to assume the names of function in a parent module.
Instead, they must be designed as the pointers to these two BdsDxe functions and passed in.

mdkinney 5e335a5280 Retire <FrameworkModuleBase.h>, <FrameworkModuleDxe.h>, and <FrameworkModulePei.h>

mdkinney 1f53f7bb99 Update SecMain for Nt32 to use WriteFile() for all status code related console output so the same mechanism is used for SEC, PEI, and DXE. Previously SEC and PEI were using printf() and DXE was using WriteFile() and the order of the messages was not correct in all cases. By using the same method for all status code output, the order of the messages is correct.

The type VA_LIST is mapped onto the compiler specific implementation of varargs. As a result, modules build with different compilers may not use the same VA_LIST structure. The solution to this issue is to define a new type called BASE_LIST that is a compiler independent method of passing varargs between modules. 
1) Update status code listeners to use the BASE_LIST based APIs in the PrintLib instead of the VA_LIST based APIs, since ReportStatusCodeExtractDebugInfo() was updated to return a parameter of type BASE_LIST.

eric_tian 4d6c29cedc modify the format of DynamicHii type pcd in DSC file. We directly use Unicode string to describe the stored variable string name rather than original hex code.

eric_tian 933676058b retire gEfiAlternateFvBlockGuid. All platform FvbRuntimeDxe drivers will not produce such protocol to signify itself support writable FVB protocol. 
FaultTolerantWrite driver and variable driver will register notification event to locate right protocol.

eric_tian 3709c4cd5b 1. delete Include/Guid/VariableInfo.h 
2. move VariableFormat.h into GUID directory and change the “Signature” field of the VARIABLE_STORE_HEADER to gEfiVariableGuid value.
3. merging VARIABLE_INFO_ENTRY structure into the new Include/Guid/VariableFormat.h
4. change gEfiVariableInfoGuid into gEfiVariableGuid.
5. modify FDF files to use new guid value instead of the original signature.
6. all code related to signature is changed to use guid value.

klu2 1f9fa1d32d 1, Retired PCD PcdSupportHardwareErrorRecord, because as UEFI specification said, if PcdHardwareErrorRecordLevel is 0, platform does not provide feature of hardware error record. 
2, Move PcdHardwareErrorRecordLevel to IntelFrameworkModulePkg
3, Change PCD type to dynamic, Platform integrator need set this PCD type as HII type PCD mapped to variable L"HwErrRecSupport".

klu2 21e97c72eb 1, Change name of PcdPlatformBootTimeoutDefault to PcdPlatformBootTimeout, now this PCD is *not* only hold default value of Bds timeout, but it is associated with a HII type PCD to hold persistent value for BDS timeout. Platform integrator will establish this mapping in platform DSC file. 
2, Move PcdPlatformBootTimeout to IntelFrameworkModulePkg.
3, Remove BdsLibGetTimeout() interface from GenericBdsLib, because the PCD PcdPlatformBootTimeout will take care of persistent for time out value.
