lgao4 0fa0015900 Add two ExtractGuidedSectionLib instance separately for Pei and Dxe module. Because Pei module may run in flash, they don't support to write global variable. We have to use GuidHob to store these global variables.

lgao4 18fd8d651d 1. Add ExtractGuidedSectionLib library to replace customdecompress library. 
2. Add PeiDxeExtractGuidedSectionLib library instance and one PCD PcdMaximumGuidedExtractHandler in MdePkg.
3. Update DxeIpl and DxeMain to consume new library.

xli24 ba7e162ec1 Fix a bug of ScsiWrite10Command() UefiScsiLib. After the SCSI WRITE command is executed, the output DataLength parameter should be EFI_SCSI_IO_SCSI_REQUEST_PACKET.OutTransferLength, instead of EFI_SCSI_IO_SCSI_REQUEST_PACKET.InTransferLength.

yshang1 cdebf6c68a 1) Add type casting for argument "a" in EFI_ERROR(a), since if compare two constants without specify data type, compiler maybe could not understand what is the actual data type of constant. The default would treat it as unsigned data. therefore, if the argument a of EFI_ERROR(a) is constant, for instance the EFI_LOAD_ERROR, the EFI_ERROR(a) would always be FALSE. 
2) Remove PcdDriverPcdLibNull.
3) Add more ASSERT() in BasePcdLibNull to detect the incorrect usage of Pcd Library.

mdkinney ad9e507a58 Change EfiConvertPointer() and EfiSetVirtualAddressMap() to use gRT instead of mRT because these two functions must only be called in physical mode, so there is never any need for them to use mRT that is converted to a virtual address

2) Change EFI_FVB_ATTRIBUTE to EFI_FVB2_ATTRIBUTE, As Zimmer, Vincent’s PI1.0 errata document said, in PI we need use EFI_FVB2_ATTRIBUTE to differ the specification change.
3) Remove duplicate definition of SERIAL_MODE, PARALLEL_MODE in Include\Framework\Legacy16.h
4) Remove EFI_FV_FILE_ATTRIB_FIXED and EFI_FV_FILE_ATTRIB_ALIGNMENT from IntelFrameworkPkg\Include\Protocol\FirmwareVolume.h, because they defined in PI specification.
5) Remove EFI_FORM_LABEL from IntelFrameworkPkg\Include\Protocol\HiiFramework.h

yshang1 c7d265a94a Checked in part of MDE library instances following PI and UEFI. It includes: 
1) UefiLib adds features of RFC 3066/Iso639 language string and driver model protocols installation.

2) PeiCoreEntryPoint following PI.

3) UefiDriverEntryPoint following UEFI/EFI.

4) PeiServicesTablePointerLib following PI for IPF and x86.

5) Remove many CommonHeader.h. If there is only one C file in module, we should add the common headers in C file instead of creating a new CommonHeader.h.

qwang12 abb234751e 1) Initialize gBS, gST, gImageHandle in UefiBootServicesTableLib.c to NULL 
2) Add DxeCore infix to the module local variable gBS, gST, gRT, gDS in DxeMain.c. This is to solve the name conflict with UefiBootServicesTableLib which is defined in MDE Library Spec. 
3) Add in check for gBS and gST in UefiDebugLibConOut/DebugLib.c and UefiDebugLibStdErr/DebugLib.c and MdePkg/Library/DxeReportStatusCodeLib/ReportStatusCodeLib.c. If they are not initialized, the API will just return with a error message.

lgao4 5b66424456 Correct TeImage file format and Clean up PeiRebase tool to remove unused code and only relocate image.

qwang12 b244c7dc74 Add in UefiApplicationEntryPoint library class and library instance. 
The major difference between UefiApplicationEntryPoint and UefiDriverEntryPoint is that:
1) UEFI application will always be unloaded no matter what is the return status code from the application. Therefore, the library destructors should be called always.
2) UEFI application should not register any callback to evevnt such as EFI_EVENT_GROUP_VIRTUAL_ADDRESS_CHANGE and EFI_EVENT_GROUP_EXIT_BOOT_SERVICES.
3) UEFI application does not support module merger like Uefi Driver.

iii)    Change some illegal characters in many files, the problem is mainly connected with people using Chinese Input method to input symbols such as ' " - ?, etc. Multiple files are influenced.

ajfish c993d0dac4 Did not check in new files correctly the first time! 
Updated FPD files that include Runtime driver as a new lib was added to Runtime Driver for the cache flush. Removed Cache Flush routine from EDK DXE SAL Lib.
Cleaned up BaseLib IPF cache routines to only Flush ranges when needed and not to flush the entire cache.

ajfish 92ea7f231b Updated the Runtime Driver to use the MDE libs for cache flush and removed local copy of Cache flush code. Updated FPD files that include Runtime driver as a new lib was added to Runtime Driver for the cache flush. Removed Cache Flush routine from EDK DXE SAL Lib. 
Cleaned up BaseLib IPF cache routines to only Flush ranges when needed and not to flush the entire cache.

ajfish 2ce311322c Removed cross references from PciCf8Lib and PciExpressLib class to PciLib class. 
Added PeCoffLoaderGetMachineType to the PeCoffGetEntryPointLibrary Class. Document to be updated.

Added the PeCoffLoaderImageReadFromMemory() and PeCoffLoaderRelocateImageForRuntime () to the PcCoffLib. 

Updated EfiImage.h and removed EFI_IMAGE_OPTIONAL_HEADER and EFI_IMAGE_NT_HEADERS as they were replaced with checking the MachineType.

PeCoffLib – Added checks for MachineType so the PeCoff lib can load any PE32 or PE32+ image. The relocations are still limited to IA32, X64, IPF, and EBC. I also added a re-relocator function to remove PeLoader Code from Runtime Lib. Even though there is only one instance of the re-relocator I wanted to get all the PeCoff loader code together.

Replaced DEBUG_CODE() macro with DEBUG_CODE_START() and DEBUG_CODE_END() so you can debug through the DEBUG_CODE() macros. Also removed PE/COFF code and replaced with library usage.

I also updated the IO Instrinsic lib to use _ReadWriteBarrior() to help with sync problems

bxing ebca816989 Added a 64-bit version of EnablePaging64() on X64. AsmEnablePaging64() is the transition code to switch the processor from 32-bit into 64-bit long mode and thus is typically linked with 32-bit images only. However, it's desired to link the transition code into a 64-bit image in some special cases. CPU driver is a good example among those.

bxing a69c49fc11 1. Simplified PalCallStatic.s's by removing unnecessary condition testings.

qwang12 1de04b4f83 Add in support for MaxSize and CurrentSize for PCD entry. 
Change the behavior for PcdSET for Variable_Enabled Pcd entry. If a Variable does not exist, we will only save the value to a volatile space. We save it to variable ONLY when the variable exist. 

Fix a few bugs in Pcd Build tool when generated Pcd database for Pcd entry with Unicode String type.

Support PcdSet to return MaxSize if the input SizeOfBuffer is greater than the Max Size declared in FPD file.

Add SetValueWorker and GetValueWoker for each PcdSET and PcdGET function to reduce code size.

Sync function prototype definition for PCD_PPI_SET_POINTER, PCD_PPI_SET_EX_POINTER, PCD_PROTOCOL_SET_POINTER and PCD_PROTOCOL_SET_EX_POINTER with PCD arch spec 0.52.

Add ASSERTION in LibPcdSetPtr.

klu2 dc530c7b9d In before, FixedPcdGetxx macro was defined as global variable, it is wrong. It should be defined as value directly, and module developer can use it to define length of array.

bbahnsen 362c60128f Gcc versions of the msa files. These files can be used in place of the normal msa files for gcc builds. They will go away once we get the gcc assembly integrated into the main msa files.

mdkinney 6cfb0c24a8 Fix bug in StrnCpy() and AsciStrnCpy(). It was copying Length - 1 characters instead of Length characters.

Remove Arp Related interfaces
	Change the return type of SmbusQuickWrite from “BOOLEAN” to “VOID”
	Complete interface SmBusBlockProcessCall()
	Make the PEC bit “bit 21” of SMBUS address. If data show that MSB helps to save code size in BaseSmbusLib, we may simply redefine it to be MAX_BIT.
UefiLib
	Modify the interfaces in UefiNotTiano.c to sync with spec
MemoryAllocationLib
	Add extra checking in “Aligned” Memory services to prevent “AllocationSize + OverAllocation” overflow in DxeMemoryAllocationLib.
